Canadian Alliance for Community Service Learning

The Canadian Alliance for Community Service Learning (CACSL) was established in 2004 through the generous support of the J.W. McConnell Family Foundation. This developing national association of faculty and professional staff from post-secondary institutions is dedicated to providing support for the design, implementation and evaluation of community service learning (CSL) programs at post-secondary institutions across our nation. In addition, CACSL is active in building the national research capacity with respect to community service-learning programs, outcomes, and resource development.

The CACSL website has been created for Canadian faculty, staff, researchers, community organizations and our students. The site serves as an introduction to community service learning, provides resources and tools for CSL partners and assists to connect CSL colleagues and programs across the country.
