Responsible for pre-award administration of research grant proposals, and ensuring compliance with the guidelines of various granting agencies. Publicizes internal and external funding opportunities, liaises with funding agencies, assists faculty with the development of research proposals, budgets and teams, reviews grant applications, and recommends research grant applications for institutional signatures. Regularly reviews policies and best practices related to research administration, and provides advice and guidance to the Associate Vice-President Research (AVPR) on the effective design, development and implementation of research policies and programs for the University. Manages the centralized documentation of all research activity at StFX.
