For students interested in applying for our Master of Education program please print off and fill out the application below and submit it before the application deadline. Please be certain to follow the instructions inside the application package.

Important Information Regarding Licence Upgrade:

Graduate students in Nova Scotia are reminded that they need to apply to Teacher Certification (Department of Education and Early Childhood Development) BEFORE they begin their Masters of Education to obtain an Approval for License Upgrade. It is not automatic that the program will be approved for license upgrade so please make sure you contact Teacher Certification.

Applying for a cohort?
Please make sure to include the cohort name on the front of your application.

 


MEd Bursary 

A limited number of $500 bursaries will be granted each year to current MEd students based on financial need. Students must be in in good academic standing, and, registered in a MEd course for the term in question. Full-time and part-time students are eligible to apply.

Application Deadline: November 15th & February 15th of each academic year

St FX Outstanding Graduate Student Research Award

STFX Graduate Student Research awards (two in total) will be made available

a) One (1) award for the Faculties of Arts and Education;

b) One (1) award for the Faculty of Science.

These may be awarded at the Spring and Fall convocations annually.
